Michael Smolka, WLS, CR promoted to ACR Director of Construction services

It’s not every day that you find someone as dedicated to the restoration industry as Michael Smolka, WLS, CR.

Michael began his career early after watching his father become an admired expert in the field. He started as a Lead Restoration Tech in 2002 and worked his way up at ACR from a Senior Water Technician to a Project Manager, and is now ACR’s Director of Construction Services.

With 19 years at ACR, Michael Smolka is one of the most highly credentialed experts in the restoration field. He is a Water Loss Specialist®, Certified Restorer®, Master Water Restorer®, and Certified Healthcare Remediator - Supervisor.

During his time at ACR, Michael has helped our customers manage risk, minimize downtime, and operate efficiently. He has taken on catastrophic losses and has helped property managers, education facilities, and healthcare organizations recover from unexpected emergencies.

Michael also teaches many of the ACR CE classes on how to work through water-, mold-, fire-, and mold-related damages.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys being a husband to his wife, Aurora, and a dad to his three children.
