ACR's Video on Water Mitigation Mobile Trailer Demonstration
June, 2010 - For one week, ACR invited insurance agents, producers, adjuster, property managers, building engineers, risk managers and other to experience a water loss. The simulation took place inside a 27-foot mobile trailer where participants took part in drenching the contents of the trailer including carpet, drywall, an upholstered couch, bed and other materials. Participants watched in awe as the instructor, John Schaefer, continued to flood the contents during his presentation.
After a brief one-hour lunch break, participants were led back to the trailer to see how utilizing proper equipment, fast action and restorative drying techniques, even within a 1 hour time frame, the contents of the trailer were already beginning to dry. The course was well received by all whom attended and they were please too visually see how restorative drying really works.
